In the August 21, 2011 Davao Premier League 1st Division matches, WT-FM defeated Ebocci 4-2 and Columbia FC beat Hooligans 5-2.

The Football tournament is organized by the Davao Football Association (Davao FA).

August 21, 2011 Results

2:00 PM WT–FM defeated EBOCCI (4 – 2). Scorers for WT – FM are Joven Benitez (11’); Jayric Iligan (25’); Francis Abrasaldo (29’); and William Villancio (85’). Scorers for Ebocci are Sylvestre Sarco (43’) and Michael Jay Fernandez (72’).

4:00 PM COLUMBIA FC defeated HOOLIGANS (5 – 2). Scorers for Hooligans are Allan Rey Fernandez (28’) and Christian Hager (40’). Scorers for Columbia FC are Roberto Acog (52’); Francisco Iligan Jr. (65’, 78’, & 90’); and Nur Mentang (68’).

Columbia hacked out a lopsided 7-0 victory over Kapisanang Magkaibigan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (KMMPC) in the opener last weekend.

WT-FM, for its part, overwhelmed Medvil, 7-1, in the football tournament organized by the Davao Football Association (Davao FA).

COLUMBIA defeated  KMMPC (7 – 0). Scorers for Columbia are Imardino Polo (31′), Fancisco Iligan II (45′, 60′, 65′, 70′), Absser Pidtokasan (69′) and Renante Bangi (71′)

WT-FM defeated MEDVIL (7 – 1). Scorers for WT – FM are Francis Philip Acala (25′, 71′), Ruelfred Napuran (28′), Jayric Iligan (64′, 82′), Francis Abalonan (78′) and Emerson Roy Demigillo (84′). Ruben Mohammad-Said (86′) scored for  MEDVIL.

Davao Premier League 2011 – 1st Division Schedule

The Davao Premier League will start on July 17, 2011 2:00 PM with six (6) participating teams – Hooligans FC, Columbia FC, WT-FM, Medvil, KMMPC, and Ebocci FC. The venue is at the Tionko Football Grounds, Bolton Riverside, Quimpo Boulevard, Davao City.

The inaugural game will be between Columbia and KMMPC at 2PM. MEdvil FC and WT-FM will play at 4:00PM.

The second division is set to follow on August 6, 2011 with about 10 teams indicating their intention to join.
