Phil Younghusband scored a hat trick as Loyola Meralco fought back from 3-0 down in the first half to repulse Kaya Cignal, 5-4, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. Loyola staged a comeback behind star striker Phil Younghusband’s heroics. Phil, who scored the Philippines’ lone goal versus Los Angeles Galaxy last Saturday, found the goal in the 57th and the 69th minute before capping off his hat trick in the 86th minute.

In the other semifinals match, a rematch of last year’s UFL Cup finals, Air Force FC got their revenge as they beat Global FC booters, 2-0, thanks to the two late goals from veteran Yanti Barsales and Jaylor Soriano.

The 2011 UFL Cup Finals will be aired live by AKTV on IBC 13 this coming Saturday December 10, 2011. The semifinals lured an estimated total of 3,000 fans at the historic stadium.
